La Chatte

Although many admirers of Boulanger most often think of the joyful and exuberant faces of the round-faced children that populate many of her pieces, her affinity for animals has also served as a muse for much of her work. In her original etching entitled, “La Chatte,” Boulanger has brought to life this beautiful depiction of a mother cat nursing her newborn cubs.
