Jardin des Tuilleries

This original lithograph depicts one of the most recognizable areas of the Tuilleries—the Grand Carré. The season in which Delacroix chose to depict the garden scene seems unconventional, but the little vibrancies of colors in the coats, cars and kiosk really bring the Tuilleries to life in a new way.
